What we collect, why we collect it, where it goes and how to get it back or removed.

The short version
We set nothing on your device unless you accept it first. We run no advertising or tracking pixels. We do not sell or rent anything you give us, and we do not share it with anyone outside the services listed further down that are needed to run the site.
You only give us something when you fill in a form. If you never fill one in, we hold nothing about you beyond an anonymous count of the page you looked at.
What we collect when you fill in a form
Each form asks only for what it needs.

We also record which form you used and which page you were on, so we know where an enquiry came from.
Why we hold it
- To reply to you. Every form sends you a confirmation and sends us the enquiry.
- To make introductions. If you join the talent register, we hold your details so we can put roles in front of you and tell practices you exist.
- To send the newsletter, but only if you asked for it.
We do not use your details for anything else, and we do not add you to the newsletter because you filled in a different form. The tick box is always yours to leave alone.
Who else touches it
Running the site needs a few services. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job. Several sit outside Australia, which means your details are handled overseas.

Cookies and measurement
Nothing is set until you say yes. On your first visit we ask whether we may count your visit with Google Analytics. Decline and no cookie is set and no analytics script loads at all.
If you accept, two cookies are set to tell one visit apart from the next and to count returning readers. They expire on their own. Your address is shortened before it is recorded. We do not use them for advertising and we do not follow you to other sites.
To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and you will be asked again.
We also count visits with a second measurement tool that uses no cookies at all and cannot identify anyone. That one runs whatever you choose.
Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font provider, so loading a page does not hand your address to anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Every email carries the link.
- Talent register: while you want to be on it. Ask and we take you off.
- Enquiries and role postings: while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period after, so we can pick it up again.
What you can ask us to do
Email [email protected] and ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We will do it, and we will not ask you to justify yourself. Allow us a few working days.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the same applies, plus the right to object to how we use your details and to ask for a copy in a portable form.
Security, honestly stated
Traffic to the site is encrypted. Keys and credentials are held as secrets rather than sitting in the page. Access to the enquiry records is limited to the people running TCC.
No service can promise nothing will ever go wrong. If something does go wrong in a way that could affect you, we will tell you rather than wait to be asked.
Children
This site is meant for people at work or looking for work. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If we add a service that changes any of this, we update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant and you are on the newsletter, we tell you there too.
